Eating should be a thoughtful process that takes roughly 30 minutes for each meal. This pace allows you to relax, enjoy, and sense how both your mind and body feel before, during, and after eating. Many people use an eating/emotional log to track and gauge the patterns of their eating as well as how it makes them feel. It can also be a good idea to create journal entries where you describe in more detail experiences, emotions, thoughts, etc. you experience concerning eating.
